To use group chat, your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) must be an Official Business Account (OBA), shown by a tick beside your business name. Please prepare the following:
- A verified Meta Business Portfolio. Verify your business yourself using your IC or passport.
- A WABA registered for more than 30 days. The 30 days start after we set up your WABA, so you can prepare the other items while you wait.
- A company website. It must be a website, not a social media page.
- 5 media mentions from the past 12 months. News articles and blog posts are accepted. Social media posts are not.
OBA approval is decided by Meta, so we can’t guarantee the result.
